Structr integrates automatic APIs. As soon as a data type is created in the visual schema editor, Structr automatically generates ready-to-use REST interfaces. Changes to the data model in a running system take effect within seconds, because the schema is stored as a graph data structure.

Structr has a native process engine (BPMN) in the graph. Process tokens, task instances and the model itself are stored as nodes in the same graph as the application data. This structure gives processes direct, transaction-safe access to business data without the need for external integration layers.

AI integration and structured coding with Structr Companion
Structr integrates AI through Structr Companion. Structr Companion lets you create applications by prompt. Once the application has been created by Companion, developers can refine and extend it in detail in the Structr backend. Unlike uncontrolled vibe coding, Companion works with fixed guidelines defined by Structr. Thanks to this structured approach, the AI in the Enterprise edition consumes fewer tokens than free-form code generators.

BSI-audited security and support for GDPR compliance
Structr has been audited by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). This means our platform is secure enough for use in the public sector and in strictly regulated industries. Structr can be run entirely on-premise in your own infrastructure. Unlike many SaaS providers, this guarantees independence from US laws and enables GDPR compliance.
Who owns Structr?
Axel Morgner is the owner of Structr. He founded the brand in 2010 and started the open-source software project of the same name.
In 2011, Axel's brother Christian joined the project. Together they founded a company, which was renamed Structr GmbH in 2015.

The higher plans such as Enterprise and Sovereign include 1–4 developer days (Dev Days) per month. As a customer, you therefore receive a fixed allowance of expert support for developing your software solution.
Our customer service focuses on enabling our customers and is not geared towards pure consulting. Our goal is to give you a flexible and powerful tool in Structr and, through our expertise, to put you in a position to develop complex applications with the provided environment in a short time.
